Purchasing Terms and Conditions
The care of my customers is my top priority. I am happy to assist you in any way that I can. Below you can find my terms and conditions for purchasing, cancelling an order, returns, and order errors. If I can assist you with your order in any way please don't hesitate to email me.
Purchasing and Payments
Stitches and Stones KC accepts most major credit and debit cards through our secure Shopify checkout system. Orders ship out typically within 2-4 business days, but please allow up to 7 business days. For Sales Events shipping can take 2 weeks due to the high volume of orders.
PayPal is not added to our checkout system. If PayPal is your only payment method, contact me and I will gladly send you a payment request through PayPal.
Layaway: Stitches and Stones KC does offer partial payment layaway plans. Click here for details. Your order will be shipped once your order has been paid in full.
Cancellations and Returns
Stitches and Stones KC accepts cancellations and returns for reasons including; purchasing wrong merchandise, you changed your mind after the order was placed, or you do not resonate with your purchased item.
You have 24 hours from when your order is placed to cancel your order and receive a full refund; including refund of shipping costs. After 24 hours a full refund will only be granted if the order has not been packaged and shipped.
Return requests must be made within 7 days of the delivery date. Returns are to be shipped within 15 days of their receipt. Returns requested or shipped after these deadlines are subject to have the request denied or a higher restocking fee. Items must return in the same condition that they were sent to you. Please package your return carefully; Stitches and Stones KC is not responsible for items that are broken during return shipping.
Once the items have been received and inspected by Stitches and Stones KC you will receive a refund for the cost of the item minus a 10% restocking fee. For returns shipped after 15 days of their receipt the refund will be for the cost of the item minus a 20% restocking fee. Returns that are received 30-45 days after the date of delivery to the customer will receive a store credit for the cost of the item minus a 20% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damaged, Wrong Item, or Missing Item
Returns considered to be my error include: damaged merchandise, wrong items shipped, or item missing. Please always check your packaging carefully. I do photograph every order before it ships to make sure I did include everything and the state that it was in when I shipped it. Also please be aware that with tumbled and raw stones where there are multiple available there will be naturally occurring variations in size, shape, coloring, and patterning to each crystal. Some crystals may be "semi-rough" (not 100% smooth). I try to do my best to represent the crystals, however there may be a slight variation from batch to batch. Organic spots in the crystals are not considered damaged. However, if you are unhappy with a crystal for any reason you are welcome to return it for a refund (see the Returns section above).
Missing Item: I will get the item sent out to you as quickly as I can. Again, I will check my photograph records first. There have been a number of times where the "missing" crystal is actually still in the package.
Wrong Item: In some cases I may request that this item be sent back to me. As soon as the returned item is received in the same condition that it was sent to you I will ship your correct item out to you and reimburse you for your return shipping costs.
Damaged Item: For defective or broken merchandise a photo of the damage must be presented before a refund is made. You will receive a refund for the full price of the item.
A buyer has 7 days from the date of delivery to inform me of any error or damage.
You must let me know when you have shipped your return back to me. This way I can keep track of your return order and expedite your refund.
• Returns shipped within 15 days of receipt are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
• Returns shipped after 15 days of receipt are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
• Returns shipped 30-45 days after receipt are subject to a 20% restocking fee and will receive a refund in the form of a store credit.
• Returns shipped after 45 days of receipt will not be accepted.
Restocking fees are for returns that are not to the fault of Stitches and Stones KC.
